Privacy Policy

Daily Compound ("the app," "we," "us") is a personal habit, goal, and progress-tracking app covering health, financial, and happiness goals. This policy explains what information the app works with and how it's handled. It applies to the Daily Compound mobile app and to this website.
The short version
The information you enter into Daily Compound — your checklist items, streaks, rewards, net worth figures, weight entries, challenge details, and calendar history — is stored locally on your device. We don't operate a server that receives, stores, or has access to that data, and we don't sell or share it, because we don't have it.
Information you enter into the app
To use Daily Compound, you may enter information such as:
- Daily goals and checklist entries across health, financial, and happiness categories
- Account balances or net worth figures you choose to log
- Weight entries and progress goals
- Long-term rewards you attach to goals, including links and prices
- Challenge details you create or join, and the display name you use with friends
This information is stored locally on your device using standard on-device storage. It is not transmitted to, or stored on, any server that Daily Compound operates.
Information we do not collect
We do not require an account or login to use the app, and we do not collect your name, email address, or financial account credentials through the app itself. We do not run advertising, and we do not sell personal data — there is no data-sharing business model behind Daily Compound.
Device permissions
The app may request permissions (such as notifications, to remind you about your daily goals) that are used strictly for that stated purpose. You can review and revoke any permission at any time in your device's Settings.
Data you share with friends (Challenges)
If you choose to join or create a Challenge, information relevant to that challenge (such as your display name, streak count, and shared goal completions) may be visible to the other participants you've chosen to challenge, so the leaderboard can function. This is limited to what's needed to run the challenge feature.
Your control over your data
Because your data lives on your device, you're always in control of it:
- Deleting an entry or goal in the app deletes it from your device immediately.
- Uninstalling the app removes its locally stored data, subject to your device's own backup settings (for example, if your device's operating system backs up app data to your personal cloud account, that backup is controlled by your device settings, not by us).
Children's privacy
Daily Compound is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If Daily Compound's features change in a way that affects how data is handled — for example, if we ever introduce optional cloud sync, crash reporting, or analytics — we'll update this page and change the effective date above before that change takes effect.
